Y'all* fail. Y'all were supposed to stop me before I started another project that involved gathering.


And, while I am at it, Y'all fail again, because Y'all failed to show me there was a definite good side and bad side to this fabric before I started cutting, much less before I started sewing.**


Finally, Y'all fail because I think Y'all have lost track of how many times I had to rip the same seam.

OMG, I really am making a four teir skirt.

I am wondering if I can get away with pleats. Why I like pleats more than gathers, I couldn't tell you.

I prefer pleats (especially at the waist) because they don't make me look like a dumpy peasant. Also, you don't have to worry about your gather thread breaking. Or not catching part of the fabric in the seam.
