auroraceleste, you were so right to decline going to Hangover. Ugh. But I still love my brother, anyway.

Seems the city of Lawrence wants to do some work to 9th street. This means, (assuming weather doesn't interfer) my entire apartment complex will be cut off from 7 am to 7 pm tomorrow. That... really kind of bites. It will be WORSE, though, if weather causes them to postpone it, as I have build some plans around the problem.

I guess we will see what we see, tomorrow.

Thank you, but I plan to enjoy sleeping in and then just playing WoW. I kind of need to be home and online at 7 because I have signed up for a raid. If I can't get to my apartment until then... So I will just stay home. Problems solved.

I'm happy that I don't have to drive through that part of town on my regular trips to Lawrence. They seem to be doing a lot of roadwork this spring/summer.

I see those lines running past my place on 9th street as well. I hope they do it quickly and efficiently, but knowing Kansas road crews...

:D That would be lovely, but I think I will just be a sloth at home. Who knows? Maybe I will even sew some.

Oh, that's FUN.

I didn't know they were working on the street until ryltar called me at work before I left, and thank goodness he did.

Thanks for mentioning the water, because it probably applies to my complex, too. Even though no one in our apt. management has bothered to mention any of this to us...

I think it was actually the city that informed us and they put announcements on every door and by the mail box
