It's... I want one! It's easy to read, for one. It's light. The download is fast. The screen changes aren't instant, like on a CRT or a flat screen, but that's not a problem if you are reading text.

Dana says her battery (she won one in a raffle) lasts for darn near ever (no back light) and a little clip-style book light works great for reading in bed, same as for a normal book.

Also, Kindle runs over Sprint's data network (which is actually quite good, Sprint's customer service notwithstanding).
