That oh-so-heavy and oh-so-painful skirt.... doesn't fit over the hoop.




I'd be crying, but I noticed the over AND underskirts are so stiff they don't HAVE to have a hoop - they are pretty imposing together, even without the hoop.

But a hoop might spread the weight out a bit and make it more comfortable . . .

I would have to split seams and add spacers. :(


On the other hand... the over skirt can hide quite a bit. I could just let the underskirt stay hiked up in back.

Or, just cut the overskirt up the back and don't bother to put a spacer in it.

Does your hoop have any adjustability? Mine can be let in or taken out a few inches by sliding the things that hold the hoop steel together down the hoop a bit and feeding the ends of the hoop further into the channel. Just depends how close you are to it fitting.

While a good idea, I don't think I can make it work - I had issues with my hoops getting smaller and smaller as the ends of the steels slid past each other, so I have these nifty little contraptions that hold the ends in place.
