Well, the smock is done but for finishing the side seams (to serge or try for flat felled... hmmmm.) and hemming (I so hate hemming....). It's a little tight through the bust (not that that will be an issue under a gown), the sleeves are tighter than I like (and short? not sure yet) and I may have made the neckline too high, but it's not bad for a first run. Perfectly wearable and rather comfortable. I am seriously considering doing black work on the neckline.

Me, too. :) And yes, that's how the machine works. I didn't know either until I saw an icon very like this (but with color).
