I am a geek and I revel in my geekness.

Game chat boards. Why they took me so long to find, I don't know. But it was Asheron's Call that finally brought me to them. They have their downsides. Kiddies, trolls (provocateurs are a different breed - I tend to like them), spoilers, arguments about stupid stuff. But if you have a question, now, they really shine. Most questions are of the 'how do you', or 'where do you' or 'what am I doing wrong' variety, but there is one that I love best. And when I can start it... well, that's bliss. I ADORE questions about the backstory. I LOVE getting fellow geeks to trot out their knowledge, or their guesses or their conjectures. I recently had a question about Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines that had nothing to do with playing the game and everything to do with the story. I wanted to know if anyone had ideas or concrete evidence on the identity of an anonymous emailer or even the cab driver. And I got all sorts of comments, and counter comments and info from books and ... oh, the bliss.

I'm such a geek.

Adam, don't read unless you WANT to be spoiled
