Observations:

rougewench likely knows this much better than I, but all it takes is one stiff muscle in the neck to work merry havok with a morning (or day).

It's extraordinary how mothers can mellow with time. You know, sugary cereals for the younger children she never would have had in the house when the older ones were growing up. Soda as a liquid staple, rather than as a special treat. But I never minded. I laugh, but don't mind. I just saw another indication of the mellowing. ;) Used to be, Mother only bought the cheapest Halloween candy she could find. Tended to be the mixed bag of things like gum, smarties, that sort of thing. The closest she would get to chocolate was tootsie rolls.

This morning I saw a grocery bag with.... REESES in it. ROTF
