Says that I-435 was closed at State Line, but I know for a fact it was open to Wornall at about 7 am, as that is the exit I took to get to Bannister and thus to work this morning.

What I would like to know is, how on Earth did we get an eight+ car pile up on Eastbound I-435 at 5:50 am? There's hardly any traffic in that direction at that time of day.

On the other hand, there were a larger-than-normal number of annoying drivers this morning (slowing down while passing me, or speeding up as I tried to pass = VERY annoying to me.) so maybe a big wreck in an odd place was inevitable.

auroraceleste and affreca

and anyone else local that is interested, really.

I picked up the two Nigori Sakes that Cork and Barrel on 23rd had for sale:
Tozai Junmai Nigori "Snow Maiden"
and
Gekkeikan Nigori Sake

Wanna help me taste test them? Say, sometime this weekend?
