Well, the OxyClean doesn't seem to have done anything to the color of the fabric. Bleach time next, then I give up and keep looking... or something.

"Bedtime" didn't coinside with 'sleepy' last night, so I got back up, turned on some music and finished up the left-hand-fed knit doily. (No pictures until I have the right-hand-fed version to compare with.) Seems accomplishing something was what I needed to fall asleep. Thank goodness. And yet, I didn't want to get up this morning. Am I trying to turn nocturnal?

Hmmm...

For the last couple weeks I have been getting calls from people calling about real estate. I knew, from one of those 'wrong numbers' that the number they were trying to reach really was mine - but that person didn't mention any area code.

Today I find out the sign actually HAS an area code... sorta. 1-888-XXX-XXXX. I gotta wonder... is the phone company messing up? Or are all these people totally failing to understand the importance of the 1-888 for a toll-free call?!

The batch records I need to use tomorrow? Still sitting on QA's desk, untouched. And the client, who promised me comments by YESTERDAY still hasn't said a word. So not happening tomorrow. Which FUBARs the whole freaking schedule. Of course.

The deity of ovaries continues to tease me. No idea when my period will start, but it's been 28 days and I have none of the usual PMS signs (except maybe snarkyness, but I am not sure that's really a sign).

I have really wanted to blast a few people posting in the communties I read. So far I have resisted. One involves a post that I am pretty sure is a repeat, and another is just same-old/same-old "lighting is so poor it's hard to tell what you are trying to show off."

Bleaching simply means that my so-dark-navy-it's-almost-black fabric how has a kind of ... purple cast. Kind of pretty, really, but so not what I was looking for.

The hunt for JUST the right bluish-grey in the right weight and drape of fabric continues....
