I live.
Yesterday wasn't so bad - only 10 hours when I was expecting 12 or 13. We will see what today and tomorrow bring.

I should never listen to Killkelly while driving. I have nothing to do but think about the words. Although I think it's the singing along that really starts me sobbing (I am more likely to keep from crying by staying completely silent). Tears are just such a bad idea while driving. But I can't not sing along. I mean, it stays in my comfortable range and everything. It does start me thinking about racial memory, however.

*Huggles* I understand that has to be the saddest song ever written, it's really bad when you're at work and you start the waterworks and don't realize it.

Good to see you live.

and aye, I get the same way about the song. If I'm standing when I hear it, I sit. If I'm sitting, I can at least keep control.

I am so bad at playing songs that make me sob while doing something that I should be paying attention to.

My dear and loving son John

Oh man... I hadn't thought of that song in YEARS. I heard it only once, sung in a love show, and looked for it for a while but couldn't find a copy, then forgot about it. But it dug its way into my heart and stuck there. :(

I know of it because of Queen's Gambit (rowangolightly and thebruce, two wonderful people. And I think they found a new fiddler, but I don't know that person yet.) I am pretty sure they still have that CD for sale, if you still want a copy. ;) http://www.queens-gambit.com/

I know of a group that has recorded the song.

This Site

The album that has the song is "Opening Move, Take Two."

Good Celtic-folk group, with a awesome second album.

And as a final plug, they are playing the Scarborough Renaissance Festival down in Waxahachie this weekend.
