Somebody call the WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHhmulance. I need it: I have slipped into "po' po' piffle me" mode.

Oh, and KU is a painted hussy, who gets her kicks hording lovers. I have needed to say that for... at least half a year now, possibly more.

And, on another subject completely, there's nothing like a client who calls up and want the moon, the stars, the goose that laid golden eggs... and a pony - all by Monday. Well, actually, what he wants is two Master Batch Records completely done by Monday, which might actually be worse. And all because.... *he* messed up. I only vague wish I could find some sympathy.

Where the hell is that WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHhmulance, anyway?

Current Mood: crankydown, moving towards pissy.

You're in good company. I started the day vaguely irratable and I've fallen completely into something just *this* short of a foot-stomping tantrum because life isn't exactly the way I want it right now poor poor pitiful me.

*raises fist in solidarity*

I'm not in a tremendously good mood either this afternoon, probably because most of the emotional toll of the last few months is catching up today.

Why is everyone losing their minds at once

A NEW client didn't make up their mind that they even wanted us to collect their exhibitor data until six weeks ago, is freaking out because they aren't positive everyone has possibly heard from us about the listing information, etc. etc. etc. I think part of it is that they're used to getting a hard copy form from everyone before every show, a lot of folks are going into their record but not finishing it up by approving because they probably go, 'heh, it's okay, don't need to do more.'

I've had a gross last week and Monday and Tuesday this week (the client was off today). Mostly because I was trying to help my boss with client-requested reports while also helping panicking exhibitors with their listings. The best thing is that I think she knows what I can do best now and appreciates me a bit more than she did before this fall crunch (this is the first time we've been this insanely busy since I came back to work in the office).

Plus I'm handling other shows, etc. Ideally we will output the data, clean it, get it in good order and into the books, and then I'll be done with it by Wednesday next.
