This made me giggle in the apartment entryway.
An obvious mass-mailer from Amazon Drygoods, where the 'URGENT, DATED MATERIAL' spot actually says "handle with Enthusiasm. Not URGENT or IMPORTANT MAY BE EXAMINED LATER'

Hee hee!

So, of course, I opened it immediately. ;) Seems their area code changed, among other things.

They have been using that saying since the 1980s, I like it too. They were the first company I ever delt with for period reproduction patterns and such. Good people but it always bothered me that you have to pay for the newspaper quality catalogs even when you are a good customer. Thay need to come into modern times if they don't want to loose customers to the many convienent internet sites offering not only the same items and prices but actual images of what you are buying.

I've order from them once, not bad service, but it's irritating that they don't have detailed pictures of the items. I mean, I am paying for it anyways just to get the catalogue. I have wondered about the shoe catalogue and am tempted to get it to see if I want a new pair of shoes. But yeah, a few of the patterns I have wanted I found on-line.
