Either my taster has changed over time, or yogurt has. And I know the likelihood of the latter. Used to be I couldn't stand yogurt because it was too sour. Now.... it's sour? o.O

Maybe I should give oil and vinegar dressings another try... and my mother's coleslaw....

It's plain yogurt, drained in a sieve (I have this one. It has the consistency of either cream cheese, or sour cream, depending on how long you let it drain. You can use it as a substitute for sandwich spreads, dips, etc. I like to top soups with it, mix it with fruit, blah blah blah. I probably go through a quart of yogurt a week like that (it drains down to about two-thirds the original volume).

I'll put some in a little container for you to try, if you like!

I've got a fresh batch in the fridge right now. I'll put some in a plastic container for you and you can come pick it up this evening if you'd like. I'll be home from 5:30 on!

Yuck! I still cannot stand yogurt! But if you are interested in a great dip, try olive oil and a fine balsamic vinager with freshly grated parmasean cheese to dip french bread into. Yummy!

I started eating cheese on my burgers when I was in my mid-20's, liking mayo on my sandwiches when I was in my 30's, and recently have tolerated sushi and beans (pureed, not whole. Whole beans just don't thrill me on flavor.)

I suspect that my palette has either changed or I'm losing some sensitivity to those subtle flavors that I didn't like earlier in life.

Mayo is a relatively new addition to my diet, too.

Mustard (the bright yellow kind) and bear may have to wait a LONG time, however.
