You have my permission, - Melodramatic, corsetted mistress of the obscure
You have my permission,|
should I ever show signs of using a long haired wig again, to inundate my journal with the word 'Lilith'.

I just spent an hour trying to brush tangles out of Lilith's wig. And failing, really, because they just kept coming back. And, when I braided it up so it won't tangle... it tangled, of course.

No complaining, you. Chi wigs are the foulest, evilest things on the earth and I won't hear a word against it. I think Amanda and I spent about 15 hours brushing that thing out.. I'm never doing that again!

You haven't seen the Lilith wigs. Both have rather more hair than your Chi wig. On the other hand, there's no curl at all (to start. The ends get frazled with brushing/combing, of course.)

Really? Wow! (I guess I never did get to see a back shot.) The Chi wig didn't have any curl either, but it came tangled in the package so it was horrible to brush out. I don't think I could handle brushing more hair than that! Yikes!

But... but... it looked interesting on you.

No argument there, but it's a PITA to maintain.
I always give them a good spraying with wig conditioner ( i buy a big bottle from Katie Bair's store
) as I slowly comb out starting from the bottom. patience is definitely a virtue here... for storage/shipping I twist up the lengths, then fold in half & let them twist back on themselves, clipping with a cheap craft store barrette. I wrap everything in muslin for protection.
ug... good luck with all that!

I did use conditioner, but I don't think it helped much. I pulled out small sections, even, and tried to keep them separate. But it's just so heavy!
gosh what a pain in the 'tocks....
