This morning I woke to a car radio about two minutes before my alarm went off. I have vague memories of hearing this before, so I suspect I will either a) have to accept that I will be woken by the very inconsiderate neighbor a little before my alarm goes off, or b) just set my alarm for 6 rather than 6:05.

The controlled substance run went off with very little trouble and even less overtime. I am afraid, I am very afraid. Something now has to go catastrophically wrong for sure.

On to a lyophilization batch that has resulted in a broken lyo unit both times I have run it before. The client just will NOT accept it takes to long to run. In fact, they INCREASED the volume just before setting me to do this. I don't pretend to understand. I don't know why we aren't just putting our foot down and saying no. But if the lyo breaks down in the middle of this run, too, I don't think anyone is going to be able to say 'coincidence' again.
