OMFG! - Melodramatic, corsetted mistress of the obscure
First, I sewed the INTERFACED piece in backwards and serged the edges.
Then, I sewed it on UPSIDE DOWN. and serged the edges again.

Three times wrong is my current 'record'. That was my first time trying Simplicity's 9769 corset pattern.

I thought the interfacing would be enough, but oh no!.
See, that's why I don't sew. I do that shit all the time.

Bleh. I hate that. Here's hoping for a better sewing day after a good night's sleep and a couple meals. Maybe a cocktail...

Hee! No, I just came over, blogged about it, and tore out the seam AGAIN. Things have gone much smoother.
At least, until I put it on. Now I am thinking this thing will be just a little more form fitting than I planned. :O Wonder how many buttons I can put on to keep the 'gaposis' to a minimum, since a zipper isn't really an option, I am thinking. I gots lots of buttons, after all.
ooooohhhh.... whatcha making? don't worry, I do that sort of thing even when completely wired and focused, and what's worse, I've had one item that I sewed in three times wrong, the same way and had to cut a whole new piece because ripping out the stitches that many times ruined the fabric.

Just a top to go with the Pretty Ladies skirt. Nothing I own really went well with it, so I was 'forced' to make something.
Unfortunately, I think it's a touch small, so it's sitting, mostly made, while I decide how to deal.
