Australian Meat Pies
There's an Australian ex-pat selling meat pies (made in Arizona, but with 'some Australian ingredients') and he has a booth at the Kansas State Fair. YUMMY! I hadn't had one in almost 20 years and it was mmmmm-mmm good. Catsup isn't quite the right tomato sause, but the guy says he's trying to get that imported, too.

Oh, and he had Sausage Rolls, too. Both sure tasted right, to me.

What's in them? Um.... that's a really good question I never asked. ;P At school in Australia, I just accepted it was mystery meat but here it's beef (or beef with cheese or chicken with veggies, but those variations don't interest me.)

If you step outside the south side of the Domestic Arts building, his booth is across the way and to the left (down a couple booths). But you are relying on my memory here, and that's not really reliable for things like this.

I this is one place

my sister gets her British pies for Brits, or it may be a California manufacturer.
