Okay, so I got a new graphics card (BFG NIVIA 8600 GT OC 512 MB), updated the drivers and now, when I try to play DVDs (using PowerDVD) I get sound, but grey screen. Any ideas?

I can play downloaded video with Real Player just fine.

Edit: Now it works. I have Real Player up in teh background, though. Wonder if that has something to do with it or if it was just an odd glitch.

Edit2: OMG, it does. I clicked off Real Player and got grey screen. I pull it back up and I see the movie. gah.

Sounds like a wonky Codec situation.

Uninstall and reinstall drivers. Reinstall PowerDVD. Software is never fun to troubleshoot. :o)
