Exactly. The braces (off now) and the retaining system he currently has are likely to blame for at least three, but the two canine teeth are just odd. The new ones (both of them) are coming in in front of the old and the old are only vaguely wiggly. It makes him look just a bit like a shark. ;)
Ha! I know exactly what you mean by the shark teeth. A friend of mine still had those in high school and I always found them fascinating to look at. I have to say I wouldn't want them in my own mouth, though.
Oh, I had one like that. The... right side next-from-center tooth never fell out, it just sort of moved up my gum and (apparently) began to be absorbed back into my body, because when they actually pulled it there was barely a sliver.
Honestly, if they've been left alone for quite some time, it's not so much pulling as gently reminding them to move along. It was extraordinarily unpainful, except of course the vile novacaine injection.
