I am suitably impressed
Really, I thought the 'antiperspirant' on the label of deodorants was like snake oil claims. It sure didn't seem to do squat for me.

It had gotten to the point where I would have soaked underarms just from sitting in front of a computer and I was SICK of it. It's cold, smelly, embarrassing and does awful things to my shirts.

So, when I went in for a regular check up, I mentioned it to my doctor. He said, if nothing serious showed up on the blood tests to explain it, he would give me a prescription for Drysol.

I am here to tell you, that really DOES work. Just two applications and my underarms just don't sweat but for a little bit. You know, like they are SUPPOSED to.

This is very, very nice.

I am, however, still going to blame the problem on the stress here at work.

Congratulations! That has to be a huge, huge relief for you. That alone was probably a huge stressor.

One of my staff will sweat through the prescription antiperspirants. She gets botox injections under her arms every 6 months to keep her shirts dry.

Ouch!

I will say, the lack of deoderant is bothering me. I will have to see how to get around that.

Are you not supposed to mix antiperspirants? Can't you wear the prescription one and an OTC one with deodorant?

If not, you can by just deodorant no antiperspirant.

The instructions specifically prohibit the use of OTC antiperspirants. Actually, I think it also mentioned deodorants, too, but that may simplely be because antiperspirants don't come any other way.

I will have to look for deodant-only versions.

I could have sworn there is at least one deodorant only product out there. At least I thought I saw one recently. I even remember thinking to myself, "Why would they not have the antipirspirent with that?"

Now I know. ;-)

Hope you can work something out.

Worst case, perfume.
