I was browsing at Borders last Wednesday, looking at the (recently moved) manga section when I saw something that didn't seem to belong. The books were of the 'omnibus' size, meaning about 1 to 1.5 inches thick and an inch or so taller than the usual. But the color was very simple and the title looked like they belonged in the psychology section - "With the Light: Raising an Autistic Child"
But they really were manga. I picked up the two volumes there (2 and 3) and ordered the first one.
These were totally worth it. How often do you find an educational book that is also a page turner? And these are truely both. If you have the slightest interest or curiousity about autism, I strongly recomend these books. I can't wait for the first volume to come in and I need to see if there is a fourth yet.
