At least four of you are moving this weekend. I find that... odd.
Currently listening to Falcon at the Portal. Got frustrated and went looking for more detailed synopses of the next few books. Another WHOLE book before Certain Characters quit being Stubbornly Unobservant. *sigh*
On the other hand, the three books after THAT only seem to come in abridged audio book versions. Can anyone tell me if I should just order the paperbacks to see how the HELL they shorten them down to half the length of all the previous volumes?
I am not moving this weekend.
I am craving Sparkling (carbonated) Water.
I am staying at the Marriott at D*Con this year.
None of these things are related to each other.

Glad to hear it. :D
Can't help you there. :p
I would have to ask Aurora_Celeste, because my memory for this seems utterly non-existant, but I think I will be at the Hyatt.
Oddly, you might be able to, in a round about way. :P
Who did I meet last year?

You met Aurora_Celeste.
You also met Bloodguard and his son (better know to the non-WoW world as Michael and Kyle)
(Help with Sparkling Water? in a roundabout way? Um... something to do with chemistry?)
Okay, that's what I thought.
I don't think I'd heard Bloodguard's moniker before.
Has to do with knowing that a cheap brand of it is in Lawrence, that's no longer here, and as such it's even on the eastern side of Lawrence (at Dillon's). So, down the road, if I gave you cash, and it wasn't out of your way, it's something you might be able to help my Muse with. ;)

Well, we did make jokes about yelling 'Blood!' or 'Aydena!' across crowded atriums to get each other's attention, but it just seems wrong to introduce someone by their character names in RL no matter HOW familiar those names might be.
Totally! Actually, let me know what it is and I can be on the lookout for it.
Yes, what logic would there be in using real names? ;)
Apparently, Big K (the Kroger brand that Dillon's carries) has Sparkling Water. It should be of a comparable price to their soda, if not slightly less. I know they have cans, I have no clue if they have 2 or 3 liters. The latter would be cheaper. I either drink it straight, or I use it to mix down other soda without watering down the carbonation. Yada yada yada. Mind you, I'd have the housemates get it when they go through Lawrence next (likely Tuesday), but down the road would be awesome. I don't think they have flavors like Mendota Springs or La Croix, but that's just fine by me.

I think we're in the Marriott, but AuroraCeleste is still looking to swap for Hyatt. I figure I'll double check with her the night before we fly.

Also not moving, and damn glad about that. Instead, have been nesting in the library. Something about having brought back from the parents two shelves to build. Years ago I'd stenciled flowers on some of those shelves. I figured out how to build the shelves so the stenciled parts face the window. As I only had room for one shelf, I gave lawnchair
the one wood colored shelf. Little details, but combined with the green curtains I made and the green sheet on the futon, the room looks much nicer.

You make five, if you can believe it. And I don't believe any of the other four are school related in anyway.
As for the book, I have to admit the style is verbose, but... that's actually part of the charm. I am afraid, so I have ordered the paperbacks. (actually, what I am REALLY afraid of is that they completely dropped half the story, as I know at least one book is supposed to jump to another whole story in the middle, only to return to the original. But I WANT that other story, dammit.)
it's cos it's the end of the month, that's why we're all moving! :)

Normally, I would be all like 'omg, you're right, it's the end of July. Moving day!" but you may be the only one moving at this time of month/year because of rigid leasing start/end times. (Lawrence is SOOO a college town - getting a lease that doesn't start in August is.. problematic. You have to take over someone else's lease).
