I thought he looked familiar.

The amnesiac on Castle tonight was So Familiar, but I could not place him. IMDB to the rescue. Marc Blucas, who played Riley Finn on Buffy.


O.M.G.


I am really confused, actually. I didn't much like him on Buffy (because he was replacing Angel, most likely) but he was utterly mesmerizing on Castle.

I told Bob they should have cast Sarah Michel as his ex wife just for the humor value. And kept cracking jokes about "the hellmouth took his memory" during the ep.

Whereas Lawnchair had to check IMDB for the ex-wife. Turned out to be Cut Throat Bitch (Amber) from House. I was watching without glasses due to headache, and thought they were all nicely acted blobs of color.

I loved Riley. I always thought the actor got the short end of the stick from lots of fans because he wasn't Angel. He was actually a good guy, and the relationship I thought was best for Buffy :P

For some reason, I kept expecting him to turn out to be the bad guy. Heck, I did during the Castle episode.


And yet, I couldn't take my eyes off of him. It was disturbing.

I benefitted from the fact that Teenager 2 watched pretty much all of Buffy over the summer, so when he showed up on Castle, we all said "Oh hey look, it's Riley."
