Unexciting post is unexciting
I think I saw more vultures (Turkey Vultures, I think) today than in my entire previous almost-4 decades. It was a touch unsettling, actually.

Also, there was an owl. In the middle of the day. And it wasn't small. Couldn't tell you what kind, though.

Oh, and a turkey, but that's hardly surprising.

I didn't get quite as many questionaires completed today as the previous three days, but I am consoling myself that it's the main office's fault - they came out with a 'clarification' of the rules that make things harder. Oh, well.

Probably a Great horned owl

they're not shy and they aren't totally nocturnal. And they're large enough they don't have to be shy and hide during the day, either.
