DA2 again.
I didn't think this out well.

I have done a rogue and warrior run, leaving me to need just a Mage run (for an achievement, of course. Achievements are evil).

I rather want to romance Isabela, but romancing Fenris with a mage is sooo tempting.

I did one run where I waffled and one run where I sided with the mages. That leaves the Templars.

I hear one can become Viscount (with achievement) but must side with the Templars to do it. I also hear a mage can't do it (which makes perfect sense within the framework of the game world).

These goals: mage with Viscount/Templars are incompatable.

Not sure I have the patience for two more runs.

I'm still trying to figure out quite how I'm going to end my first run, lol, and I'm just about to start that last quest.

Also, can you just pick up a near-end save from one of your previous runs to side with Templars just for the achievement or do you *need* (you personally, not as in game constraints) to do a full run for it? Because it'd be much better to just do that and then you can play your mage however you want.

I think I want to know how the whole story would go, although I guess I could just do Act 3 over on my rogue - with the waffling, maybe I could even get the achievement out of it. You have to choose to side with either the mages or the templars in five of the following seven quests, only three of which are in Act 3 (for the Mage versus Templar achievements, not the Viscount one). Wayward Son, Act of Mercy, Enemies Among Us, Night Terrors, Best Served Cold, On the Loose and Showdown. Thanks for that thought! More Fenris kisses this way. :D
