I think I know the part, too. For one thing, the tooltip that popped up (at exactly the WRONG time) said to repeatedly press the key that showed on the screen. And the tooltip showed the right mouse button, for some reason.
Then NOTHING showed on the screen.
Clicking the right mouse button did nothing.
Pressing the W key must made me run INTO the problem.
I found that pressing and holding the S key (totally counter intuitive, let me tell you) was what I, apparently, was supposed to do.
To say I was irritated was an understatement.
And let us not even speak of wraiths. You can likely Google 'The Witcher 2 Wraiths' and find quite a few threads asking how to fight them. I had to. :|
And yet, I continue to play, so the game's obviously got something going for it. And, no, it's not random tumbles with women; so far I have managed to avoid those entirely. Still waiting for the sequel's version of the 'talking to the half-elven woman about language.. wait! What are we doing in bed?!' scene.
I also had to drop the resolution down a notch, which I found insulting, especially since everything was already on low settings. It's not as pretty as it could be, and I KNOW it, since I started with too-high settings. *sigh* But low frame rate in a game where you have to react quickly is bad.
And I have kind of lost track of the number of times I have though either 'Where am I supposed to go now?' or 'How the @#$% am I supposed to get there?!"
But I am still playing and I will likely even finish it, unless some fight proves too much.
