Bethesda I am disappoint.
I have really appreciated how practical the female versions of armor have been in Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. At least, up until the vampires in Dawnguard. Breast windows, Bethesda? Really?

Vampire armor

For contrast, see the Dawnguard's light armor (the heavy armor is mostly a color change.)

And there's glass armor (which just happened to be what I was wearing when I decided to do this comparison.)

I dunno, sometimes the tops of my boobs get really hot and sweaty and I want some ventilation for my gazongas.

But it's right over the heart! And where does one stake a vampire?!

Oh, it's armor for vampires specifically. Someone in the armor manufacturing biz must be a life-ist.

I'm kinda weirded out by the enormous scaly hand hanging down over the groin of the glass armor. WTF is up with that?

I don't know why it curls like that, but it's partly to do with the character's pose. It's suppose to be like the Roman's armor skirts... the word is escaping me in my too-sleepy state right now. I find it... interesting that the male version of the glass armor has no such thing.

I agree. It made me think twice about using the glass armor as a comparison, but it was handy.
